Baton Twirling

Ages 5-12

Class will cover baton twirling basics with an emphasis on fun and learning. Students will develop coordination and rhythmic skills through twirling basics such as rolls, twirls, and basic marching and maneuvering techniques. Majorettes may order batons at first class.

Miss Bev’s Dance Recital

Children may only participate in the spring recital if they’ve completed both the January & April classes. Participation in the January sessions is a prerequisite for enrollment in April sessions. The date and location of the recital is TBA. Tickets will be available in the spring through Miss Bev.

Bev Nollette has been a dance instructor in Andover for many years and is known as “Miss Bev” by her students. All programs are limited to 15 students and are held at Shawsheen School. Spring classes are in preparation for the June recital.


ALL participants (youth & adults) must have a completed & signed Emergency Information Sheet on file in order to participate in DCS programs. Registration over the phone will not be permitted without an emergency sheet on file for the registrant. Online registration requires a Waiver Form be electronically signed, however an Emergency Sheet is still required for all participants regardless of how registration occurs.  Emergency Sheets are available online at the DCS website under “FORMS” or in the DCS office and can be mailed, dropped off, emailed or faxed to DCS.
